Located in London, Ontario, EVE Park is an all-electric community powered by the sun. The 84-unit condo community features a fully solar-powered infrastructure that is connected to the community microgrid, providing inflation-protected energy pricing for EVE Park homeowners.
EVE Park represents a holistic approach to energy efficiency that goes well beyond renewable energy generation. Sustainability, energy efficiency, and decarbonization were considered in all aspects of the plan, including:
- A community-owned, grid-connected solar microgrid providing sufficient energy to power EVE Park's 84 households
- Innovative technology that optimises energy usage without compromising usage performance
- Air exchangers and high-efficiency windows that provide cleaner air quality and fresh interiors no matter the weather outside
- A parking tower that stores all resident vehicles, providing more outdoor space for parks, natural gardens and walking trails
- EVE-car, a car share program that lets residents use cars from a fleet of Tesla vehicles, with subscription programs suitable for occasional or daily use.
The EVE Park project is an example of our holistic approach that includes full ownership of the DBFOM (Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Maintain) cycle.
